Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: It had a washer and drier, well equipped kitchen, a log burner and comfy beds. Very clean and well maintained. It was situated in a great location for visiting places such as Alnwick Gardens, Bamburgh Castle and Cragside. Great parking facilities. Wonderful welcome box and treat box for dog. Next door to the Apple Inn - so could get drinks/food without having to travel. Spa passes included - great facilities. All staff were professional.
Negative: Lack of lock on the gate leading to the rear of the property meant it was left open several times (by workmen), so there was a risk the dog could escape.
Summary: Ideal central location with great facilities.
